Hamburger Steaks

Guaranteed to be a savory and satisfying winter time meal!




Hamburger Steak

Prep time: 15 minutes 

Cook time: 40 minutes 

Servings: 3 


Ingredients


  • 1 lb ground beef 

  • 3 tbs Tony Chachere’s steakhouse marinade 

  • Tony Chachere’s original seasoning 

  • Tony Chachere’s brown gravy mix

  • 2 small-medium yellow onions 

  • 8 oz pack of sliced mushrooms 

  • 1 egg 

  • 1/4 cup panko


Directions


  1. Combine ground beef with egg, panko, and steakhouse marinade. Mix until combined. Form 3 patties. Season both sides liberally with Tony Chachere’s original seasoning. 

  2. Heat skillet to medium to medium high heat. Place steaks in skillet and cook each side for about 4 minutes. Remove from skillet. Drain grease. 

  3. Add sliced onions and mushrooms to skillet. Cook until browned and soft. 

  4. Add Tony Chachere’s brown gravy mix to skillet. Pour water according to bottle instructions. Stir to combine. 

  5. Add steaks back to skillet. Bring to simmer. Continue to cook until gravy is thickened to liking. 

  6. Serve over mashed potatoes and enjoy!
