One of my favorite slow cooker meals is a Mississippi pot roast! Put the ingredients in the crock pot and let it do its thing! You’ll be amazed at how flavorful this meal truly is.
Mississippi pot roast
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 10 hours
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
* 3 lb chuck roast
* Wickles banana peppers (about 1/4 of the jar)
* Wickles sliced jalapeños to liking (depending on desired spice)
* 1 lb petite golden potatoes halved
* 1 yellow onion diced
* 1/2 lb whole baby carrots
* 1 packet ranch seasoning
* 1 packet au ju gravy
* 4 tbs butter
Instructions:
1. Place chuck roast in crock pot along with banana peppers, jalapenos, ranch seasoning, au ju gravy, and butter.
2. Cook on low for about 7 hours.
3. Place veggies in crock out and press down into juices.
4. Cook for another 3 hours or until everything is tender. Enjoy!
