
Kick it up a notch with this Cajun classic! This is a super easy meal that will get you by in a pinch or become a new weekly go to!
Red beans and rice
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 50 minutes
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients:
2 boxes of Tony Chachere’s red beans and rice
1-2 lbs smoked sausage
2 stalks celery
1 bell pepper
1 yellow onion
4 tbs butter
Instructions:
Slice sausage and dice veggies.
Add butter, sausage, and veggies to a skillet and cook over medium heat until sausage is browned and veggies are softened.
Add in boxes of Tony Chachere’s red beans and rice. Add in water according to box.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy!
