I’m combining two of my favorite things… a Philly cheesesteak and queso! This is a for sure hit at any gathering!

Philly cheesesteak smoked queso
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 1.5-2 hours
Servings: 10
Ingredients:
1 lb of thinly sliced beef (I used a ribeye)
1 yellow onion diced
1 red bell pepper diced
1 jalapeno diced
1 lb if white American cheese
1 block of cream cheese
1 can evaporated milk
Steak seasoning of choice
Instructions:
Preheat flat top or skillet to medium high heat. Cook veggies and steak. Season to taste with steak seasoning.
Transfer veggies and steak to a foil tray. add American cheese, cream cheese, and evaporated milk.
Add to smoker or grill. I used the charbroil pro series grill that can convert to a charcoal grill. I then used charcoal and wood chunks.
Grill or smoke over low heat or about 250 degrees F for atleast an hour and half, stirring occasionally.
Once the cheese is thoroughly melted and can be easily mixed, remove from grill and season to taste with more seasoning. Enjoy!
