Balsamic Glazed Brussels

Don’t say you don’t like brussel sprouts until you’ve tried these!



Balsamic glazed brussel sprouts


Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 30 minutes

Servings: 4


Ingredients:


  • 1 lb of Brussel sprouts

  • 6 slices of thick cut bacon

  • 2 tbs honey

  • 2 tbs brown sugar

  • 3-4 tbs balsamic vinegar

  • 6 tbs soy sauce

  • 3.5 oz package of dried cranberries and pecans

  • Salt pepper garlic to taste


Instructions:

  1. Start off by heating griddle to low heat.

  2. While griddle heats, chop some thick cut bacon. Add to griddle.

  3. While bacon starts to cook, slice off the stems of the brussels and then cut in half. Add to griddle. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic.

  4. Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and honey in a bowl. Stir to combine.

  5. Once the brussels and bacon are getting close to being done, add the sauce and the cranberry and pecan bag.

  6. Continue to cook until the sugars have caramelized and the bacon and brussels are done. Enjoy!
