Creamed corn dip

Creamed corn dip


Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 45 minutes

Servings: 8-10


Ingredients:

  • 8 ears of fresh corn

  • 2 jalapeños

  • 2 bell peppers

  • 12 oz smoked sausage

  • 1 block of cream cheese

  • 1 cup of heavy cream

  • 8 oz block of cheddar cheese shredded

  • 1 tbs Tony Chachere’s original seasoning


Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to high heat. While grill preheats, clean and slice peppers in half. Remove the pulp and seeds from the bell pepper.

  2. Place veggies and sausage on the grill. Grill until charred on the outside. Remove from grill.

  3. Slice the corn off the cob into a skillet. Dice veggies and sausage and add to same skillet. Add cream cheese and Tony Chachere’s original seasoning.

  4. Place skillet on stove top at low heat and melt in the cream cheese. Once it is melted in, add heavy cream and stir to combine.

  5. Stir in about 1/3 of the cheddar cheese. Top with remaining of cheddar cheese.

  6. Bake at 375 until cheese is melted and bubbly on top. Enjoy!
